As this fan at NLCS Game 1 shows, don't wear a baseball glove to the game: Wear two

Fan wears two baseball gloves to NLCS Game 1

It's a debate as old as time: Should adult fans wear baseball gloves at the ballpark

In one camp, we have the pro-glove individuals -- those who suggest that, hey, if a foul ball is coming your way, you may as well be prepared. On top of that, baseball is fun! Wearing your glove to the game is also fun! Why would you not want to have fun? The players are wearing their gloves -- why can't you?

In the other camp, we have the anti-glove activists. These people believe that, considering the relatively low odds of catching a foul ball or a home run, the glove serves no purpose other than as a fashion accessory that makes carrying ballpark food more difficult. Plus, if you're going to catch a ball, don't you want to make a sweet barehanded grab that makes everyone cheer? Or use some other object as an improvised ball-catching receptacle?

Here's the thing: Everyone's wrong.

The only person who's correct is this fan at Game 1 of the NLCS, who decided to wear two gloves.

It's amazing: The answer had been staring us in the face all this time, but we were blind to it. Not this man. He's a visionary.

¡Viva la revolución de dos guantes!
