Fans cheer on US LLWS champions

The Little Leaguers from Chicago's Jackie Robinson West team have been one of the best stories to come out of the Little League World Series this year, capturing the attention of Major League players, celebrities and baseball fans from across the country.

On Sunday afternoon, the boys from the South Side were again the center of attention on social media as they faced off against South Korea for the Little League World Series Championship. Unfortunately, the squad lost, 8-4, but felt the support from the White Sox, President Obama and many others:

Jackie Robinson West had a huge throng of supporters at the game in Williamsport, Pa., but there were many more following from back home at watch parties across Chicago.
