Homer Bailey throws second career no-hitter, now ranks among all-time great Homers
Homer Bailey pitched a no-hitter against the Giants on Tuesday night:
It was the first of 2013, the second of his career and the 16th in Reds history. Bailey was also the last pitcher to throw a no-no, holding the Pirates hitless last September. He's now among Nolan Ryan, Sandy Koufax and 21 other aces to accomplish the feat at least twice.
And finally, most importantly, we can rank Homer Bailey among some of the all-time great Homers in history:
Homer, the Ancient Greek poet who penned The Illiad and The Odyssey

Bobby Thomson's homer heard around the world:
Hank Aaron's 715th homer:
Homer Simpson, the husband of Marge and fun-loving father of Bart, Lisa and Maggie
Congratulations, Mr. Bailey. You've finally made it.
