So, there's a 20-foot python inside the Rays clubhouse

First, a club DJ. Next, a magician. Then, a merengue band, cockatiel and penguins.

And now, a 20-foot python named Asia.

The Rays clubhouse has hosted each of these unusual visitors. After going 0-5 on a recent West Coast road trip, manager Joe Maddon felt his players were a little tight when they returned home for a series against the Mariners. So, he reached into his bag of tricks and pulled out an enormous snake.

Research shows that 2014 is the Year of the Horse, so expect Mr. Ed to make his way to St. Petersburg next season.
