Josh Harrison pulls a shift at a drive-thru to surprise Pirates fans with a big thank you

Josh Harrison works drive-thru, surprises Pirate fans

Pittsburgh is in the middle of a baseball renaissance. The Pirates have made the postseason in two straight seasons and are on an absolute tear right now, so it looks like that might be a bonafide streak come October.

Bucco fans are feeling the excitement, and so are the Buccos themselves. It was with that in mind that utility man extraordinaire Josh Harrison stopped by a Pittsburgh area Dunkin' Donuts recently and donned a headset to surprise a bunch of Pirates fans trying to get their breakfast on.

Not to be outdone, closer Mark Melancon dropped in on a bunch of kids touring PNC Park and motivated them into cheering loud enough that the Cardinals could hear 'em.

Gerrit Cole wanted in on the action, too, so he made an appearance at the park's box office to surprise fans with some free tickets.

Yeah, it's probably a pretty good time to be a Pirates fan right about now.
