Get lost in the beauty and mystery of Justin Turner's helmet-flying, red hair-flowing slide

Justin Turner's slide is a sight to behold

2015 is truly the Year of the Slide. Francisco Lindor , Anthony Rizzo and Josh Donaldson have all done their part to make it so. But perhaps the greatest of all the slides (in the history of slides ever slid) happened in the Dodgers' 2-1 win over the Giants on Wednesday night.

Justin Turner looked like he'd be out by about six feet after face-planting in the dirt on his attempted steal of second base. But instead, a combination of a rogue helmet, sneaky-Justin-Turner-agility and the third baseman's wonderful, entrancing red hair blinded Giants shortstop Ehire Adrianza from making the tag:

While most of our weren't sure what we'd just seen or whether Turner was safe or out, the man himself knew what the call was. He knew what he was doing the entire time.
