K-Rod is on pace for 75 saves this season

K-Rod may break his own saves record this year

Francisco Rodriguez recorded his 13th consecutive save on Tuesday, tying a Major League record for the most before May 1. It's been a long journey for the decorated reliever, who only recorded 13 saves in the previous two seasons combined. But with a deep Brewers lineup, a new mascot and everybody Wei-Chung-ing in the bullpen, things seem to be finally coming together for K-Rod once again. 

Extrapolate Rodriguez's 13 saves in 28 games over a full season and you'll find that he's on pace for 75 this year. That would be more than enough to break his own record of 62:
