Kris Bryant hit another home run (yes, this is a different post than before)
The sun rose in the east today, so Cubs super prospect Kris Bryant hit another home run.
Heading into Tuesday's game against the Athletics, Bryant was 12-for-25 on the spring with eight home runs. In his second at-bat of the game, Bryant homered again, raising his total to nine and upping that batting average to an otherworldly .481.
We know it's just Spring Training (and small sample sizes and all), but last year's Cubs third baseman Luis Valbuena got 478 at-bats. At his current pace, Bryant would hit 172 homers over 478 ABs. It's obviously not gonna happen, but man is that a big number.
