A Missouri city couldn't stand a street named 'Blue Jay Drive,' so they renamed it 'Royals Drive'

"Blue Jay Drive" -- a perfectly nice name for any street. It's unique, it's fun, and who doesn't like birds, right? (Put your hand down, Randy Johnson.) 

The fine citizens of Liberty, MO, were no doubt happy with the choice -- until, that is, the 2015 postseason rolled around. And now, with the Royals facing off against the Blue Jays in the ALCS, they were forced to make a choice: Allegiance to team, or naming convention? You can probably guess which of those won out:
