McCovey Cove goes back to the future

If the goal is efficiency in chasing down home run balls while steering the most awesome boat ever created, this guy wins -- and it's not even close.

Yes, that was an aquatic version of the DeLorean time machine from "Back to the Future" parading around McCovey Cove in San Francisco during Friday night's game between the Giants and Rockies. Fully equipped with vertical-opening doors, a powerful engine and time-traveling ability (probably), this fan easily trumps everyone else who awaits souvenirs in kayaks.

Because come on, rowing is so overrated.

Not everything was working correctly, though. It seems as if while trying to ramp up to 88 mph to activate the flux capacitor, the vessel was only able to pull off making donuts and figure-eights in the bay.

But hey, it did glow blue. That counts for something.
