MLB visits Wall Street to ring the NYSE Opening Bell

After a memorable Opening Night, featuring a Cardinals victory over the Cubs, MLB's season begins in full on Monday with one of the premier dates on the sporting calendar: Opening Day. To celebrate the new season, a few delegates from MLB visited New York to start off something else of importance -- the New York Stock Exchange.

Mike Piazza, Harold Reynolds and Jeff Nelson all were on hand to ring the famous NYSE opening bell, announcing to stock brokers that the day's trading could begin:

NYSE trading ends at 4 pm ET, just minutes before six MLB games get going. We're thinking the Wall Street folks planned it that way.
