Minute Maid Park vendor rocks and rolls in the mezzanine

Terri Lynn Gabriel conducts the second-most famous train at Minute Maid Park -- a beverage cart on the mezzanine level.

“When we get busy, that’s when I'm at my best,” Gabriel said. “I want it busy. I love more people, more customers. I call it rocking and rolling, and I love to rock and roll.”

Gabriel, who often opens up to 10 drinks at once to keep the line moving, has built a strong relationship with the season-ticket holders in her section. When she was temporarily moved to a different part of the park, many would follow her around to get their drinks.

Gabriel's ability to connect with customers hasn't gone unnoticed. She once received two job offers during the same game, but no one has been able to persuade her to leave her stand at the park.

“Things like that keep me motivated,” she said. “This is my passion. I’ve got it so bad, my baby said I sell beer in my sleep!”
