Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid agree on exactly one thing: Bryce Harper

It's hard to imagine Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) having less in common. If this were a romantic comedy, they'd meet-cute fighting over the last slice of pizza in the Capitol Building cafeteria -- but this is real life, and they probably get their lunches delivered.

But the two men have surprised the country by revealing that they do share something: a fondness for the Washington Nationals and, more to the point, the injured Bryce Harper. After a collision with the Dodger Stadium wall on Monday night resulted in 11 stitches on Harper's chin, Reid and McConnell opened Tuesday's Senate session by expressing their mutual concern for the outfielder:

The senators went on to acknowledge they were coincidentally wearing the same suit -- a symbol of unification that's hard to ignore. Bryce Harper, are you magic?
