It's been a crazy 24 hours for the newest member of the New York Knicks organization. After being selected as the Knicks' first-round pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, Tim Hardaway Jr. is on his way to becoming a full-fledged New Yorker by taking in a Mets game on Friday night.
Hardaway was treated to VIP treatment including mingling with members of the Mets and getting to take a few hacks in the Mets' indoor batting cages. Though he never played any baseball when he was young, he was making solid contact. He gave himself a baseball scouting report, saying, "I kinda like the ball on the outside cause my arms are kinda long."
Not to worry Knicks fans, Hardaway sees no future as a two-sport athlete. "I'm not no Bo-Knows," he said.
