Fear not, world: Jacob deGrom has decided to keep his long, luscious locks

Oct. 27. That was the date. That was the day that Jacob deGrom informed the public he would be chopping off his long, flowing locks of lusciousness once the offseason hit. Since then, his team has lost a World Series, a bunch of Bills players have called a hot dog a sandwich and Twitter has gotten rid of its "fave" feature. In other words, things have not gone well.

deGrom must have noticed the adverse effect his decision had on the world because on Thursday, he changed his tune:
