Get ready -- Tony Plush might be coming back to MLB (UPDATE: With Cleveland)

UPDATE, 1/15: Morgan is officially coming back, having signed a Minor League contract with the Indians. The deal includes a Spring Training invite, so we'll wait and see whether T-Plush succeeds in getting back to MLB (with what would be his first AL team).

ORIGINAL, 1/4: When last we checked in on Nyjer Morgan aka Tony Plush, he was making friends and playing baseball in Japan.

Now, according to a report over at ESPN.com, T-Plush is looking for a possible return to MLB:

Jonathan Maurer, one of Morgan's new agents, said he's had a dialogue with 6-8 clubs that have expressed interest in signing the outfielder.

"Japan was a great experience for Nyjer and he would still enjoy playing there, but he's had a great deal of success in the States and would love to come back here as well,'' Maurer said. "We've had interest from teams who see him as a guy who could come in and spell a starter or possibly earn more playing time.''

We'd all better work on our Plushamentals:
