The Padres are holding a reality TV-style competition to find a new PA announcer

The Padres are looking for a new PA announcer and their search seems to have taken some inspiration from American Idol.

Who will win the coveted job? Much like the FOX hit's "Hollywood Week," the best candidates from the preliminary contest will earn the opportunity to try out again in front of a bigger audience -- Padres fans at the team's FanFest on Feb. 8.
