Pedro Martinez handed out free ice cream in Boston and you missed it
Pedro Martinez: 2004 World Series champion, 1999 All-Star Game MVP and, as of 2013, ice cream man.
The beloved former Red Sox pitcher handed out free delicious frozen treats in Boston's Copley Place on Tuesday ... as if "free delicious frozen treats" weren't appealing enough.
Unsurprisingly, the good people of Massachusetts turned out in force:

Martinez even made a Yankees fan feel welcome in enemy territory by paying tribute to a running joke with his AL East rivals:
"@MediaUmpire: @flash17yes just asked Pedro Martinez who his daddy is. He pointed his response. pic.twitter.com/uGrodPhmCk"ha ha. That is great
