Brandon Barnes is competing for a roster spot with the Rockies this spring, meaning that he'll play 2014 home games about one mile above sea level if all goes according to plan. To prepare for the elevation - either at Coors Field or Triple-A Colorado Springs -- the outfielder has taken to wearing this altitude mask:

Barnes currently has it set to 6,000 feet and plans to increase the level to 9,000 closer to Opening Day. And then, Denver, the city will be yours.
