Photo of the Day: Doc Moyer rings in the New Year
Newly-retired pitcher Roy Halladay is good at many things, with throwing baseballs being principal among them. But, as we've now learned on Twitter, he's just as good at picking funny costumes as he is at tossing a complete game.
When tasked with putting together an outfit for a 1980s-themed party, Doc chose the most 80s thing he could think of:
A Jamie Moyer costume.

Despite the fact that Doc was just nine years old when Moyer made his MLB debut with the Cubs (wearing the uniform you see above), the two played together on the 2010 Phillies -- when Moyer was 47.
