Roy Halladay took out a full-page ad thanking Phillies fans
For a long time, Roy Halladay was very, very good. And now, at the end of his career, Doc is taking the time to say thanks.
The good Doctor took out a full-page ad in the Philadelphia Daily News on Wednesday to thank the fans for making his time in the city feel special. He spent only four seasons wearing red pinstripes, but he did some of his best work in them -- pitching two no-hitters, one of which came in his first postseason start.
Halladay was beloved in Philly, and it's nice to know that the feeling was mutual.
