Reds prospect loses cleat, legs out triple anyway

The warm weather down at Spring Training must have gone to Reds prospect Kyle Waldrop's head because the young outfielder ignored the old "no shirt, no shoes, no service" adage in Friday night's game against the Dodgers.

Waldrop battled through an untimely wardrobe malfunction to leg out a triple against the Dodgers in Cactus League play.

He came up in the top of the fourth and roped a ball into deep right-center field. By the time Joc Pederson managed to track the thing down, Waldrop had rounded second and was on his way to a three-bagger. That's when he blew a tire and had to go the rest of the way in his socks:

Shoeless Triple

Even though everyone was able to have a good laugh at his expense, Waldrop came up all smiles, probably because there's no greater feeling in the world than legging out a big league triple. Just ask Moonlight Graham:
