Royals honor the pine tar game, 29 years later

Whether you're a fan of the Royals, the Yankees or controversial baseball moments, chances are pretty high you're familiar with "The Pine Tar Game." If your memory is a little hazy, well, we have you covered.

With the Yanks in town Saturday night, Kansas City hosted George Brett Mini Pine Tar Bat Night. The teams have met countless times in the 29 years since the actual game, so we don't know why it took the Royals so long to reminisce -- they won, after all.

No, Brett did not reenact his famous outburst on the field. It would have been pretty cool if he did, though.
