The San Diego State baseball team played a Halloween game ... in full costume

The San Diego State University Aztecs have, as far as I'm concerned, one of the greatest traditions in college sports. (Even though I just learned about it today.) Every year, they put on an intrasquad late-October scrimmage, open to the public, in which every player must wear a Halloween costume.

And trust me, they do not skimp out on costuming effort. If you haven't seen the driver of the Jamaican bobsled team drop a bloop into right field and then run to first base while holding the sled with his entire team, you haven't seen the full potential of what baseball can be. You can see all the highlights below:

Full details on the game, which took place on Sunday, are available on SDSU's website. I don't know about you, but I am more than ready for MLB to adopt this concept. You know, if the World Series goes to a Game 7, it'll be played on Halloween itself ...
