Starting Nine: Walk-off, walk-off, walk-off!

Many things are happening -- on Cut4, in baseball and out there in the rest of the world. Here are nine you need to know about today.

1. The Rangers have discovered a flair for the dramatic, as they've won each of their last three games in walk-off fashion -- all on home runs and all against the Angels. Here's Wednesday's version, via Adrian Beltre.

2. Elsewhere in the American League, the Red Sox battled the Mariners all the way into the 15th inning. Finally, with Stephen Drew at the plate with the bases loaded, the fans at Fenway got what they were looking for:

3. Astros grand slam? Astros grand slam.

4. The MLB non-waiver trade deadline has passed. Which teams made moves and which ones stood pat? We've got you covered.

5. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best soccer players in the world. He's not, however, one of the best pitchers in the world, as we all learned when he visited the Dodgers on Wednesday.

6. Speaking of the Dodgers -- did you know celebrities like to go to sporting events in Los Angeles? They're just like us!

Chris Paul, Kevin Durant

7. In Phanatic news, the Giants were hassling him before Wednesdays matchup, with Sergio Romo attempting to steal his ATV. The Phanatic did not approve.

8. This poor dude. Not only did he fail to hold on to the ball, he helplessly fell into the stadium aisle. As you're drinking your coffee this morning, keep his failure in your heart.

9. In the saddest TV news you'll read all morning, Rob Lowe and Rashida Jones will be leaving NBC's Parks and Recreation midway through this season. We literally could not be any sadder.
