The Dodgers did their best to impress McKayla Maroney on Monday

McKayla Maroney captivated the country as a member of the United States' gold medal-winning "Fierce Five" women's gynmastics team in London. And she's gained nearly as much fame for making the face that launched a thousand "McKayla is Not Impressed" image macros after winning a disappointing silver in the individual vault competition.

The 16-year-old threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium on Monday with two other Fierce Five members, Gabby Douglas and Kyla Ross. As you can see from the photo, Maroney appears to be a great sport and embacing her meme stardom.

Her pitching form may not have been awarded a 10.0 if there were judges scoring it, but she got the ball roughly over the plate and on the fly to catcher Matt Guerrier. Dare I say her effort was...impressive?
