Baseball's rarity: An Andrelton Simmons blooper

To Andrelton Simmons, "blooper" was a foreign word. The 25-year-old Braves shortstop already had two Gold Glove Awards to his credit entering Spring Training and the all-time record for defensive runs saved (DRS) in a single season (41 in 2013).

We joked that his range might grow exponentially and gobble up baseballs in other states, but we didn't take into account the fiery power of the burning star at the center of our solar system.
