The power went out at Tropicana Field

If you've ever been to Disney World, you're probably aware that it rains every day between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. in that part of Florida. It's like the lunar cycle or the sun setting in the west. You can set your watch to it.

Well, one of those storms rolled through St. Petersburg on Wednesday as the Rays were hosting the Blue Jays at Tropicana Field. It started with some thunder and lightning that was severe enough to, um, startle Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera:

Then, the power went out and this was the scene at Tropicana Field:

For reals, though, the game was delayed briefly as the powers that be tried to figure out what to do after a section of The Trop's lights went out. Eventually, everything got back to normal and the game resumed because the one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball.
