Three facts you may not know about the three newest Hall of Famers

Tom Glavine, Frank Thomas and Greg Maddux were all voted into the Hall of Fame on Wednesday. While their on-field accomplishments speak for themselves, here are a few other tidbits you may not be aware of.

Tom Glavine

Glavine was actually a standout hockey player in high school and was taken in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft ahead of future Hall of Famers Brett Hull and Luc Robataille. Here he is skating with the Bruins in '92:

But the two-sport star was selected by the Braves that same year and chose the diamond over the ice. The southpaw went on to win two NL Cy Youngs, a 1995 Word Series MVP and more than 300 games with both the Braves and Mets:

Frank Thomas

Crushing ... pinballs? The Big Hurt not only has a classic arcade game named after him, but also appeared in the History of Pinball documentary. Seriously. Check out the trailer below:

It's safe to say Thomas was probably a bit better at baseball. The 1B/DH tallied two AL MVPs, a .301/.419/.555 slash line and 521 career home runs. Long home runs:

Greg Maddux

Mad Dog is ranked No. 61 in Golf Digest's top 100 athlete golfers list and has played courses like Riviera, Medinah and Pebble Beach. Also, during his Atlanta days, he shot an 82 at Augusta:

However, voters were probably more impressed with Maddux's baseball prowess. During his 23-year-career, the righty notched 18 Gold Gloves, four consecutive Cy Youngs, 355 wins and 3,371 strikeouts. Dance your way into the Hall of Fame, Greg. You deserve it:
