Here's former Expos draft pick Tom Brady playing baseball with his kids

Tom Brady may be one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, but before last Sunday's Patriots-Broncos game, he was playing some sandlot-style baseball with his kids in Boston. 

The three-time Super Bowl champ is no stranger to the diamond. Back in his high school days, Brady was drafted as a catcher by the Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft. Scouts were wowed by his outstanding arm and his ability to hit the long ball:

Jensen [Brady's high school coach] recalls one game when Brady blistered two homers, one of them crushed so far it rapped off Serra's team bus and woke a sleeping bus driver who figured he had parked a safe distance from the fence. Jensen also took his young player to a pre-draft workout for the Mariners, where he rocked a few balls out of the old Kingdome.

Brady declined Montreal's offer and went on to play football at Michigan.

Looking back, it's safe to say Brady made the right choice sticking it out on the gridiron. His winter hat choices, on the other hand ...
