Tom Gorzelanny catches home run in his hat, the Brewers bullpen celebrates like little kids
The Brewers played the Mets on Thursday, but Milwaukee's bullpen had the day off. Starter Matt Garza was dealing, allowing only two hits and surrendering a single walk over eight innings of impressive work.
Out in the Miller Park bullpen, the Brewers' regiment of relief pitchers got a bit antsy twiddling their thumbs during Garza's gem. When Tom Gorzelanny caught a home run in his hat during the middle innings, all bets were off.
Guys were making faces and waving at the camera, running back and forth across the frame like they were in a training montage and generally trying to entertain themselves while they were in the spotlight.
For what it's worth, Gorzelanny came on to pitch the ninth as the Brew Crew won 9-1.
