Fans don green for St. Patrick's Day
Most of the time, when you come out to the park, you show up in your team's colors and, preferably, in the shirsey of the utility infielder from 15 years ago.
Except on St. Patrick's Day. That's when everyone unites under the color of eye-blindingly bright emerald green. It was no different this year.
In Lakeland, spring home of the Tigers, this stadium worker made sure his mustache was on point:
These two shared a creme de menthe green milkshake:
This man celebrated his 66th birthday with his wife.
And, most importantly, the Holy Grail of green jerseys: Dean Palmer and Bobby Higginson. I tried to steal the shirts off their backs, but was dragged away by security.
Meanwhile, at the Twins-Orioles game in Sarasota, there were GREEnuts!

But one man could not be out-Irish'd on this historic afternoon. One chap absolutely dominated St. Patrick's Day at Ed Smith Stadium. This, lads and lasses, is him:
