True life: I'm a rookie riding the 4 Train to Yankee Stadium

As Kirk Nieuwenhuis so aptly put it, "This is awkward."

The Mets center fielder and Yankees pitcher Cody Eppley strode side by side off the subway in their crisp, clean pinstriped uniforms, exiting at 161st Street with fans showering love upon them -- more high-fives for Eppley than for the Mets' rookie, but hey, it's The Bronx -- and strolled across Babe Ruth plaza to Gate 6, parting to their respective clubhouses for Friday night's Subway Series opener at Yankee Stadium.

And by parting, we mean turning in the wrong directions. Oh, the life of a rookie in The Show.
