Adorable baby chows down on ground-rule double
On Monday, Mariners first baseman Logan Morrison knocked a fastball off Astros pitcher Brad Peacock into the right-field stands. Sure, it only reached the seats on a bounce, but that didn't mean the fan who caught it was any less excited -- after all, a ground-rule double is still an excellent souvenir.
But that fan had an adorable baby with him (with adorable baby ear-protectors), and that baby had other plans for that ball.
Namely, dinner:
We've noticed before that this seems to be a trend among baseball's youngest fans, with toddlers from Miami to San Diego taking a bite out of the game's most important piece of equipment. Clearly, they're just trying to follow in the footsteps of baseball's greats:
