Chris Colabello takes raindrop directly to the eye, makes catch anyway
Raindrop lands in Colabello's eye
There are many hazards in attempting to catch a fly ball: Sometimes, the sun blocks your vision. Sometimes, you misjudge it and wind up getting bonked in the head.
On Sunday, Twins first baseman Chris Colabello discovered a new workplace danger: rogue raindrops.
Imagine trying to do your job and having a raindrop fall right in your eye. That'd be no fun at all, right?
Thankfully, Colabello was perfectly okay, and it's possible that the raindrop was good luck -- the Twins defeated the White Sox 16-3.
