Dan Marino tossed a baseball and a football for his Yankees-Pirates first pitch
As we approach Opening Day, it's time to turn our eyes to a whole other group of people who need to get ready for the season -- the first pitch throwers.
Hall of Fame quarterback and Pittsburgh native Dan Marino was on hand for Friday's Yankees-Pirates game, and the former Dolphin tossed out the ceremonial first pitch. Unfortunately, he wasn't entirely prepared for the situation:
He was quickly outfitted with the proper equipment, and threw a decent ball to former Yankee catcher Jorge Posada:
