Former congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was on hand for the Congressional Women's Softball Game on Wednesday, and even threw out the ceremonial first pitch:

The game featured a team made up of women from the Washington D.C. press corps taking on a team of Democratic and Republican congresswomen. Giffords was a member of the team in the game's first year, but had to retire after being injured in the shooting in Tucson in 2011.

Of course, before throwing out her pitch, Giffords took the opportunity to do what any of us would do in such a situation:
