Scott Downs helps ballboy break in his glove ... with a vengeance
As we learned when we were children, there are many ways to break in a glove. You can gently rub it with lanolin oil, softly cooing as you go. You can throw it under your mattress and Princess-and-the-Pea your way to baseball success. You can even soak it in a bucket of water and then lay it out in the sun so it can get a nice summer tan.
Or you can be like Scott Downs, who offered to help out the Rays ballboy after he missed one in the sixth inning:
While this works for faulty mitts, I don't recommend anyone try this with buggy computers or hard-to-open bottles of wine.
