Jeff Francoeur's El Paso teammates kept a huge prank on him going for more than a month
Jeff Francoeur, widely known as one of the friendliest players in baseball and a true lover of bacon products, recently joined the Padres' Triple-A farm team, the El Paso Chihuahuas. Once there, his new teammates welcomed him the way anyone would: by convincing him that pitcher Jorge Reyes was deaf.
It took a lot of dedication along the way with teammates, waitresses, and even Reyes' wife getting in on the action, saying that she and her husband usually communicated through text messages and "hand signals."
Check out the video below, put together by Chihuahuas utilityman/filmmaker Cody Decker and enjoy the fact that your co-workers have yet to fool you as badly as they did Francoeur.
