Jimmy Kimmel and Eric Stonestreet made an utterly ridiculous bet on the World Series

Kimmel, Stonestreet, make weird bet on World Series

Jimmy Kimmel and Eric Stonestreet (of the sitcom "Modern Family") have a well-documented love for the Mets and the Royals, respectively. Normally, this probably means they have a great time talking about baseball and reminiscing about how much fun the '80s were. But, as you may be aware of by now, the Mets and Royals are facing each other in the World Series this year.

This is probably bad news for Kimmel and Stonestreet's friendship, but it's great news for those of us who like weird TV. On "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday, the two decided to place a good-natured wager on the outcome of the Series, as decided by the Wheel of Terrible Bets:

Here's the result, if you don't have time to watch the entire clip: The loser has to jump around in a bounce house while the winner shoots at him with a paintball gun for a full minute. Thanks to this bet, we can safely say that no matter the result, we're all winners because we'll get to see that.

Watch Game 1 of the World Series tonight on FOX. Coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and game time is at 8.
