Matt Harvey hit a home run, wanted to fit in with all the other Mets pitchers

Jacob deGrom has 8 hits on the season. Noah Syndergaard hit his first MLB home run this year. Steven Matz, sidelined with an injury for now, went 3-for-3 in his pitching debut and currently has a batting average of .500.
So what was Matt Harvey supposed to do during Saturday's game against the D-backs, not hit his first career homer? His two-run shot put the Mets in the lead, because Harvey wanted to help his team in as many ways as possible:
A fan reached over the railing to catch the ball, prompting a replay review. The call was confirmed, and after a Ruben Tejada homer in the sixth inning, New York won 4-2.
And the fan who caught the ball, Trevor O'Loughlin of South Brunswick, N.J., was pretty happy, too. He traded the ball for one of Harvey's game-used bats, tickets to a future game and on-field batting practice passes:
So what did we learn today? Apparently, hiitting is just what Mets pitchers do. Every single one of them:
