Phillies fans gave Tony Gwynn Jr. a standing ovation in his first game after his father's death

Eight days after Tony Gwynn's tragic passing, his son, Tony Gwynn Jr., returned to the Phillies for their game against the Marlins on Tuesday night. When he came on to pinch-hit in the 8th inning, the Phillies faithful wanted to show their support during this difficult time, giving Gwynn a standing ovation.
