President Obama becomes first active President to visit the Hall of Fame
President Obama visits the Hall of Fame
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, noted White Sox fan and, oh yeah, President of the United States, Barack Obama, stopped by the Hall to discuss tourism and its importance in local economies like Cooperstown, New York. But that's the boring stuff.
The interesting bits came from Obama's tour of the grounds. Here's the Prez going memorabilia crazy over Jackie Robinson's jersey:

The very first Presidential first pitch (thrown by William Howard Taft):

and the White Sox's 2005 World Series ring:
Of course, Obama also donated his White Sox jacket from his 2009 All-Star game appearance, but sadly, not the jeans. "Michelle retired those," the President said.
Rest in peace, dad jeans, rest in peace.
