Tigers ballboy flees a Miguel Cabrera double, tumbles into stands
Things you don't want to see headed straight for you: a 250-pound All-Pro linebacker, an angry mother bear, a swarm of agitated hornets. And a Miguel Cabrera double.
Have some sympathy for the ballboy in Friday night's Tigers-Twins matchup. There he was, calmly tending the third-base line when he found himself face to face with a hardball rocketing his way, courtesy of Cabrera's bat.
So he did what any of us would do -- he got the heck out of the way.
Instead of taking a stinging shot to the thigh, he found himself sitting among the fine folks at Comerica Park.
Hey, sometimes anywhere else is better than in the line of fire.
