A stellar catch, a mental error and a cannon throw: The Yasiel Puig outfield experience
Playing with his usual Breaking Bad-level intensity, Puig raced backward, bent awkwardly and made a phenomenal over-the-shoulder catch to end the bottom of the second inning on a windy Thursday afternoon in San Francisco.
At this point, it may make more sense to get excited when Yasiel Puig doesn't do something awe-inspiring on the field.
Of course, as noted by American poet laureate Vin Scully, Puig had already dropped another fly ball - but gunned down an advancing baserunner at second - earlier in the inning.
All in a day's work for the most exciting man in baseball.
