Byung Ho Park hit a baseball straight to Minnesota and South Korea won the Premier 12 tournament

Byung Ho Park hit a homer to Minnesota in WBSC final

There are two things you need to know about Saturday's 2015 WBSC Premier 12 final.

1. South Korea defeated the U.S. team, 8-0, to take the championship.

2. Already up 4-0 in the third inning, Byung Ho Park hit a three-run homer off U.S. pitcher and Royals Minor Leaguer Brooks Pounders (side note: incredible name, Brooks). It was, according to the WBSC website, likely the longest homer hit by anyone at the Tokyo Dome in 2015 and if you watch the video, it landed -- well, I don't even know where it landed:

Apparently, Park heard the news that the Twins had won the rights to negotiate a contract with him, so he decided to send a baseball to Minneapolis as a bit of a preview. I wonder if he had time to write "To whichever friendly Minnesotan who finds this baseball: Please hold it for safe keeping" before mashing it into the jet stream.
