Yankees fan catches Blue Jays homer on Opening Day, has a little trouble throwing it back

Fan catches HR ball, suffers from Opening Day jitters

The 2015 season is barely a day old, which means that players, managers, broadcasters and, yes, bloggers are all still shaking out the cobwebs. Fans too, apparently.

This Yankees fan, who was lucky enough spend her beautiful spring day at the opener in the Bronx, came into possession of a third-inning home run off the bat of Edwin Encarnacion. It was at that point that she found herself facing an age-old dilemma: To throw it back, or to not throw it back? That's the question.

Well, she decided to throw it back but the execution wasn't as sharp as the planning.


We're gonna chalk that one up to Opening Day jitters. Plus: small sample size. She'll have her feet underneath her by May. Just watch.
