Yasiel Puig forgot how many outs are in an inning

Yasiel Puig is the National League's player of the week. He's an awe-inspiring outfielder and RBI machine. He's even incredible at virtual baseball. Is there anything he can't do?

Count the number of outs in an inning, apparently. There were two outs in the bottom of the third in Tuesday night's game against the Mets. David Wright hit a fly ball into right field. Puig caught it, ending the inning, but he gunned it to third base anyway:

Yasiel Puig's programming, um, instincts, are simply too strong. If there's a runner on second, then he must throw to third. "What was I supposed to do?" he's saying to Juan Uribe. "I can't defy my software, I mean, basic nature."
