MLB Diversity & Inclusion curated and hosted an event formerly known as Culture + Code during the 2018 All-Star Game. Culture + Code's goal was to highlight the intersection between sports and culture (fashion, art, music and technology).
It included a 90-piece art exhibit from the Negro League Baseball Museum called Discover Greatness, as well as programming around entrepreneurship, e-sports/gaming, sneaker culture and theater. With attendance well over 900, Culture + Code showed the relevancy of baseball to popular culture, all through the lens of Diversity & Inclusion.
