World Baseball Classic
Parking & Transportation
General Details
- On-site parking facilities open (1) hour prior to doors each day.
- Tailgating:
- Tailgating is limited to the space immediately behind vehicle. Tents or trailers that take up additional parking spots or aisleways are not permitted in any parking facility.
- Grills are permitted in the open-air surface lots. Cooking of any kind is not permitted in the parking garages.
Prepaid Parking
Prepaid parking passes purchased through third-party platforms are not valid at loanDepot park parking facilities and may result in a citation or invoicing by mail. To ensure validity, parking passes must be purchased directly through official Marlins channels.
loanDepot park is home to four (4) parking garages located on the North and South sides of the ballpark and six (6) surface lots located on the East and West sides of the ballpark, each operated in a free flow parking model.
Event attendees parking at the ballpark will use their vehicle’s license plate as their credential for parking. Vehicles will not be validated at the entrance to parking facilities through payment collection or parking pass scan. Instead, all cars will enter a parking garage or surface lot, subject to availability, and proceed to an available parking spot. Event attendees will then pay and register their vehicle’s license plate via the MLB Ballpark app using the garage-specific identification code or QR code found on surrounding signage.
All parking facilities offer a full complement of ADA accessible spaces, available for purchase.
Prepaid parking is the only way to guarantee on-site parking at the ballpark. Please utilize the links below to purchase parking for the game(s) you are attending. If attending multiple games, each parking pass must be activated individually.
Parking spaces are not pre-assigned. Police and parking authorities will direct vehicles to the parking facility that best supports traffic conditions. For a smooth experience, keep your prepaid parking pass readily available to display as you approach the ballpark and enter the parking facilities. Although not guaranteed, attendees wishing to park in a specific parking facility are encouraged to arrive early.
Parking passes will populate to the MLB Ballpark app account of the email associated with the purchase. This will be located within the MLB Ballpark app, on the Marlins Home Page, at your “Tickets” tab.
Please note your parking pass will not be scanned upon entry to the parking facilities at the ballpark. Instead, you will need to activate your parking session and register your license plate by following the below simple steps:
If attending multiple games, each parking pass must be activated individually.
On the day of the event:
- Visit the MLB Ballpark app using the email associated with your purchase
- Select the Miami Marlins team page
- Tap the “Activate Parking” icon
- Add license plate
- Select “Activate Parking”
- You’re all set! Enjoy the event!
Prepaid passes must be activated on day-of-game, from 12 AM up until 5 hours after first pitch. Please note that failure to submit your license plate information on the day of the game may result in an invoice by mail.
